Varied agents have been used for the treatment of this entity<span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%">In this paper, the different effects of three agents, hyoscine, indomethacin, and aminophylline have been compared<span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%">Hyoscine, probably because of its parasmpatholytic properties, indomethacin, for its antiprostaglandin effects and aminophylline by inhibition of phosphodiesterase enzyme; relax ureter and pelvic musculature and or reduce upper urinary tract pressure; therefore pain is ceased<span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%">Pethidine, influencing on CNS, caused the renal colic improvement. According to this research, in renal colic treatment, pethidine generally effective in %97, is still the drug of choice<span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%">Aminophylline, indomethacin, and hyoscine relieve pain %66, %35, and %37 of the patients respectively<span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%">Thus aminophylline can be used instead of pethidine for renal colic treatment and so is indomethacin, but with less effect.
