The bacterial meningitis is one of the most sever and complicated pediatric diseases with high mortality & morbidity. In this study, 122 admitted patients with bacterial meningitis in ten years (1369-1379) were studied for complications, mortality, and marbitidy. 65.5% were boys and 34.5% were girls. 9% were neonate, 48.3% were 1 month to 2 years old, and 42.7% were above 2 years old. The most common symptom was vomiting in 67.2% cases. The mortality rate was 21.3%. The most common complication was Hydrocephaly (5 patients) and then hearing loss with 3 patients. The rate of this complication is higher in girls than boys.
