Abstract:   (4 Views)
Background and Objective: This study was intended to determine the status of parameter related to liver function in T2DM patients and compare it with that of controls in vitro. To study the activity of serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in T2DM patients and compare it with that of normal healthy controls.
Methods: Then studying the effect of compounds of triazole derived (S1, S2, S3) on the activity of alkaline phosphatase enzyme in vitro in samples of human serum of  T2DM patients and studied also the type of inhibition results of this study, a total of 100 samples of both sexes suffering from T2DM patients and 50 samples of both sex that is normal individuals were selected for the study.
Results: The mean activity of serum ALP (147.62±40.85 IU/L) of diabetic patients shows significant difference from that of the normal groups.
The outcomes of the present study suggest that the liver enzyme (ALP) have shown higher activity with T2DM patients than individuals who do not have DM . it was found that the compounds (S1,S2,S3) acts as an inhibitor for enzyme, and this was demonstrated by the decrease in readings resulting from the addition of this compounds and increased inhibition with increased concentration of the compounds.
